OUR ethos

Our approach is child‐centered, we support our young people to grow physically emotionally and spiritually we provide positive role models who, are able to protect them, guide them and help plan for their futures.

our THERAPY

All young people placed with Care 4 Every Child will have the opportunity to benefit from our therapeutic services and we also use a fantastic program called BERRI to aid them.

growing their confidence

At Care 4 Every Child, we feel that for the future development of the young people residing at the home engaging them in a structured approach is a key element to building confidence, learning about teamwork and empowering them, giving a firm sense of self-worth.

We believe that each young person in our care should be supported to achieve their full academic potential and to acquire the relevant skills and knowledge to move on positively into adult life. We believe that all individuals have rights and responsibilities and must therefore be aware of their actions on the people with whom they live and to the wider community. We encourage participation in order that our young people grow into responsible citizens.

We seek to provide the young people with positive and engaging relationships with adults and peers. This enables us to set appropriate boundaries for their behaviour and does not impose expectations or responsibilities on them.

We are guided in our approach by the following values.

  • Respect

  • Dignity

  • Trust

  • Well Being

  • High expectation

  • Recognising the individual

  • Realising everyone’s potential

  • TESTIMONIALS

“Bank House staff are realistic and pragmatic and work with the children to boost their autonomy and risk competency rather than simply containing risk. Just wanted to add that the team’s support to AP has been second to none and this has been a big part in her positive development over the last year.”

  • TESTIMONIALS

“Bank House provided AP with excellent care; providing her with boundaries and nurture, but also supported her in developing her independence. You built an amazing relationship with her, which meant you could support her so well through the transition from your placement to her own accommodation.”

    Kind regards,

    “Hi Angie,

I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic job I feel you and your staff have done with MC. When she came into your care, she was very challenging and on the verge of a secure order. Thanks to your patience your therapeutic and consistent approach she is a changed young person. I feel the outcomes for her life have been dramatically changed thanks to your care. She is now very engaging; she has great ambition for herself to work there with you and she can manage difficult situations that previously she wouldn’t have been able to manage. She has been enabled to develop a closer healthier relationship with her mother and she is growing into a great mature young person that I feel will reach her full potential.”

    Many thanks Vanessa (IRO)

  • TESTIMONIALS

“I have worked with Bank House/Care 4 Every Child since June 2020; despite the organisation being an external placement to our Local Authority, the line of communication has been thorough and regular throughout. They have been able to support our young person who came to Bank House having experienced significant rejection and trauma. Our young person has now found a sense of belonging and has gained an additional family within the Bank House staff team. The home was able to target the previous concerns centred around the young person and worked with them using a strengths based approach and drawing from their endless resources to enable positive changes to be made and more importantly sustained. I am pleased to say our young person has now reached a point of stability, whereby previous safeguarding concerns have significantly alleviated and is on track to reach their GCSE’s. This all would not have been possible without such a supportive and knowledgeable staff team within Bank House.”

“I just wanted to be in touch to express my impression on how well Haigan seems to have settled in the care of your team. On both occasions that I have seen him on Teams, he looks happy, steady, and somewhat grounded. The difference to the young boy that he was few months ago seems noteworthy, I hope you can pass this to your team as they deserve high praise for their hard work and commitment.

    I wish you happy holidays.”
